Day 1: Arrival in Lao Cai
The first night, guide and car pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi, transfer to Hanoi Station for LC5 Train, soft sleeper, AC. Overnight on train.
Picked up from LaoCai Train Station in the early morning, then we drive you to Sapa for breakfast After your breakfast in lovely Sapa Town we continue our trip to Phong Tho (140Km) via one of the most beautiful waterfalls - silver waterfall and the highest pass of Vietnam that is call "heaven gate"(1900 m above sea level). We continue our drive on the meandering road along a huge and beautiful valley under the highest mountain in Indochinaa the Panxifan-3143 m. Check in mini hotel, lunch.
In the afternoon we trek about 7km to visit the village of Flower H'mong, Black Dzao people
Overnight in Phong Tho.
Day 2: Tam Duong - Phong Tho
Long day trek (about 20 km) from Tam Duong, New Phong Tho to old Phong Tho town. Visit several different minority villages along the spectacular mountain path. Picnic lunch. Transfer back to Tam Duong by car. Dinner and night in hotel.
Day 3: Phong Tho - Tam Duong - Sapa
AM: Drive to Sapa (90 km), enjoy the scenery of Sa pa. Check in hotel. Lunch in town
PM: free to visit "Sapa Culture Market", great time for shopping real and beautiful embroidery from the locals..
Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Lao Chai - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai Villages
Today our jeep takes you to LaoChai village of the Black H'mong where you start trekking down the Muong Hoa Valley, walking by the stream and terraced rice fields, through the village to Tavan Village of the Dzay where you have break for a nice picnic lunch. We keep on to Giang Ta Chai Village of the Red-Dzao, trekking through the bamboo forest and crossing a suspension bridge before meeting your jeep back to Sapa for shower and transfer to Lao Cai for your night train back to Hanoi. |
